Borer’s falls dog park to Kerncliff park

Updated: 6 days ago

Borer's Falls Dog Park is located on York Road in Dundas. The park features a fully fenced area for small dogs, as well as a spacious off-leash dog park. The Borer’s Falls hiking trail, which connects to the park, begins as part of the Bruce Trail and offers stunning views of the Niagara Escarpment. Some of the prominent hills can be a bit slippery due to fallen leaves, but most of the steep sections are equipped with stairs for assistance.

Kerncliff Park is a unique and beautiful park located on the Niagara Escarpment. It was once a quarry called Nelson and is now part of the Cootes to Escarpment Ecosystem. The park provides a perfect backdrop with natural stone, wooden bridges crossing marsh-like areas, natural trails, urban landscapes, and views of Lake Ontario. Kerncliff Park has its own trail system and connects to a branch of the Bruce Trail, making it one of the best spots for hiking along the Bruce Trail in Burlington.
