Mono Cliffs Provincial Park is located in the town of Mono, in southern Ontario, Canada. It is part of the Niagara Escarpment Park system and the Escarpment Biosphere Reserve.
Along the Cliff Top Trail, there is a viewpoint that extends to the edge of the cliffs, offering a beautiful view of the distant farmlands. The trail features a sturdy set of stairs that descend about 30 meters along the rock face, leading to a boardwalk where visitors can enjoy the sight of rocks, ferns, and cedars. In the northwest corner of the park is McCarston's Lake.
The park also contains numerous streams and small ponds, with the largest pond located just below the viewpoint. Boyne Valley Provincial Park is located in southern Ontario, about an hour’s drive north of Toronto. The park features a diverse landscape, including a variety of natural communities, hardwood forests, open fields, wetlands, and marshes. Most of the trails are marked with blue signs, indicating that they are part of the Bruce Trail's network of side trails.
Although it is a provincial park, Boyne Valley is one of Ontario's non-operating parks, meaning it lacks facilities other than hiking trails. The highlight of the park is the Murphy's Point Lookout, which offers a 360-degree view of Dufferin County. This vantage point is one of the high points left behind from the last Ice Age.
