Bruce Trail HikeWelland Canal – Queenston

Updated: Nov 3

The Welland Canal is a ship canal in Ontario, Canada, part of the Saint Lawrence Seaway and the Great Lakes system. The canal runs through the Niagara Peninsula, connecting Lake Ontario and Lake Erie, and solves the navigation issue posed by Niagara Falls on the Niagara River.

The Locust Grove Picnic Area, located in Queenston Heights Park. It is a small and tranquil area where you can see many tall, majestic trees and playful wildlife.
